Healthcare Data Analyst - Sterling, VA

NAVEOS is a rapidly growing, healthcare data analytics firm specializing in government revenue enhancement services for hospitals headquartered in Sterling, Virginia. We are looking for someone who’s creative and likes to tell stories with numbers and data. You will work on a team to help monetize and transform raw data into value-added services we can use to expand our service, breadth, and depth.


  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities to leverage data and information to introduce and deliver new products to clients.
  • Analyze healthcare data from various internal and external sources (state and federal resources)
  • Identify and verify requirements and solutions for new product offerings based on findings in healthcare data
  • Design, implement and test feasible product solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability
  • Use data analysis skills to design new reports and identify data opportunities, when necessary
  • Compile large amounts of data into innovative analyses and presentations
  • Assist with strategic initiatives, producing project feasibility and costing reports
  • Arrive at solutions to data challenges in order to modify, enhance or adapt existing products and systems by integrating new features or improvements aimed at improving efficiency and productivity
  • Work closely with developers, testers and end users to ensure compatibility and user satisfaction processes
  • Produce high quality deliverables based on requirements and approved processes
  • Collaborate with operations, IT development and data warehouse teams to inform and validate reporting requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative major (e.g. actuarial, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, operations research, applied math)
  • Familiarity with data-driven system analysis (e.g. gathering and cleaning data, acquiring domain knowledge, implementing models, investigating errors, presenting findings)
  • Ability to learn complex systems quickly
  • Results-driven and able to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments such as operations, IT development and data warehouse teams
  • Ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended, both verbally and in writing is a must
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks is an advantage
  • 1 year of relational data analysis plus 1 year of healthcare data analysis experience

Accounting Specialist - Sterling, VA

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and performance-driven individual to provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation. In addition, this person will provide general assistance to the Controller.  This is a hands-on position that will perform detail-level accounting work.  The company is results-oriented and focused on accountability. 


  • Spearhead invoicing and collections processes. 
  • Provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing accounts payable checks.
  • Assist with month-end close.
  • Maintain accounting control procedures. 
  • Maintain reports and files on the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing including but not limited to scanning, electronic filing, and paper filing of accounting related documents. 
  • Compile financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
  • Input general ledger entries for account changes. 
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts and credit cards 
  • Scan, copy, and file incoming checks and send an email notification to designated recipients.
  • Communicate directly with vendors to troubleshoot and problem solve invoice issues.
  • Work collaboratively with a driven and passionate team. 
  • Assist the Controller with projects and tasks as needed and/or assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience serving in an accounting and/or financial capacity.
  • Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong general computer and software expertise including QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong self-learning capabilities to acquire new skills as needed.
  • Highly professional demeanor with a “get it done’ mentality that requires overcoming multiple obstacles with minimal training, and a willingness to invest non-standard work hours in order to produce high-quality deliverables.
